On the commune of Lancy, the Surville PLQ overlooks the Praille-Acacias-Vernets (PAV) sector in full development. This site will eventually include 20 buildings for 113’000 m2 of gross floor area. Its geographical location is ideal for the establishment of companies, offering an attractive working environment with numerous services and shops. Access is easy with bus lines 2 and 19, tram 14 and the P+R étoile. The “Lancy/Pont Rouge” Léman Express station is a 10-minute walk away. Finally, the highway is 2 minutes away.
The 2 elliptical towers, designed by the architectural firm group8, form the entrance to Surville’s inhabited park. Rising over 12 levels, these buildings each comprise 6’700 m2 of rental space, with 558 m2 floors laid out as the tenant wishes, 430 m2 of storage areas and car parks. The areas will be delivered by 2022 on a turnkey basis. Retail outlets will occupy the ground floor and the upper floors will host activities. The exceptional view, the high-end services and the construction meeting High Energy Performance (HPE) standards make these towers a privileged location.
Within the park, Comptoir Immobilier is piloting 2 rental buildings that will also be delivered during 2022. They will stand on 9 levels, being “Very High Energy Performance” (THPE) labelled buildings. These characterful buildings are designed by the architects Atelier Bonnet and Atelier d’Architecture Jacques Bugna SA. A third building, for which the project owner is Comptoir Immobilier, will be delivered in 2024.
Since 1994, the Surville neighborhood has been the subject of numerous studies and localized neighborhood plans (PLQ). A tripartite working group Commune-State-Developers is then created to achieve a PLQ federating the majority of stakeholders. In order to perfect the image of the district and to remove the reluctance to build high-rise buildings, a parallel study mandate was launched by CI Conseils. Group8 Architects was chosen as the winner. In 2014, the State Council adopted the Surville-Parc PLQ. As soon as it comes into force in 2016, CI Conseils launches calls for tenders for the selection of architects for the Tavel and SGIF properties. CI Conseils coordinates all the studies necessary for the continuation of the projects of each Owner.
In addition, CI Conseils is developing an energy concept in partnership with SIG and CGC Energie, involving the use of renewable energy up to 70%. With the GeniLac thermal solution, the lake water will thus be used to cool and heat the buildings.
