Starting from the Swiss side of the lake, the TF35 Ylliam XII capitalized on the best conditions right from the start. Thanks to a precise reading of the water and sound tactical decisions, the crew reached Le Bouveret in the leading duo after 4 hours and 48 minutes of racing.
Just as in the first part of the race, the team then demonstrated its strategic mastery, seeking out the best gusts to maintain its lead. In the afternoon, conditions allowed the TF35s to fully utilize their foils and glide across Lake Geneva, quickly pulling away from the other classes.
The final kilometers featured a spectacular duel between X-Wing and TF35 Ylliam XII – Comptoir Immobilier. Thanks to a perfect combination of strategy, coordination, and precision in their maneuvers, the crew managed to overtake their rival in the final kilometer to win after 11 hours and 48 minutes of racing and claim victory in this 87th edition of the Bol d’Or du Léman.
