The prize list for the 18th Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) was unveiled last night on the stage of the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.
Excellence, creativity and watchmaking expertise were hailed by an international jury that awarded seventeen prizes and awarded the Aiguille d’Or to Bovet 1822 for the Récital 22 Grand Récital watch.
The brands Akrivia, Chanel, De Bethune, Greubel Forsey, Habring2, Hermès, Konstantin Chaykin, Krayon, Laurent Ferrier, Nomos Glashütte, Seiko, Singer Reimagined, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels were awarded one of the prestigious prizes.
The Jury’s Special Prize, which rewards an influential player in the watchmaking world, was awarded to Jean-Claude Biver.
Lead by actor Edouard Baer, accompanied in song by Véronic DiCaire, this 18th prize-giving ceremony brought together in Geneva one thousand three hundred guests who came to celebrate the vitality of the watchmaking art.
