    What attracts you to this job and what are the special features?

    The diversity of tasks. There is no room for monotony. We deal with various areas such as technical, legal, accounting and insurance. We have multiple contacts, including co-owner clients, intervening companies and caretakers. The human aspect is at the heart of our work, particularly through the relationship with the client. This aspect of the job requires empathy, a flexible character and determination.

    JUST WHAT ARE THE MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED TO DO THIS PROFESSION?

    The condominium manager must be endowed with great rigor. This requires regular updating of knowledge, initiative and team spirit. We are very much in demand from our co-owner clients, external agents and the various internal departments with whom we are in constant interaction. It is therefore necessary to be available, to resist a sustained work rhythm, to be reactive and above all to be passionate about our job.

    IN TERMS OF UPGRADING KNOWLEDGE, WHAT DOES YOUR CONTINUING TRAINING CONSIST OF?

    My team and I regularly participate in USPI training courses, some of which involve passing an exam. In addition, Comptoir Immobilier organises internal legal seminars every year, attended by two lawyers specialising in construction and property law. Employees can thus address current topics, learn about court case law and its impact on daily life.

    PORTRAIT OF COPROPERTY AND RESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES – GENEVA

    In Geneva, 90 condominiums, 40 of which have been monitored for more than 15 years, are thus administered by a team of 8 people; experienced managers supported by dedicated assistants. They are in constant contact both with the co-ownership councils elected to represent all the co-owners, and with all the other parties involved (companies, caretakers, etc.). In order to ensure quality of service, each manager manages a limited number of mandates, for a personalized and optimal follow-up. By opting for new technological solutions and an ever more anticipatory approach, all the staff intends to respond in an ever more relevant way to the requirements of this particularly complex and constantly changing sector.

    3 employees, specifically dedicated to residential management, offer individualized solutions in the management of the real estate assets of Comptoir Immobilier’s clients. This team does everything possible to ensure that the residential property is operated efficiently and effectively. It takes charge of all aspects related to the operation of a property. Multilingual and highly qualified, the whole team makes it a point of honour to constantly update its skills to guarantee the client a pragmatic management.
