The TF35 Ylliam XVII – Comptoir Immobilier and the M2 Groupe CI took part in the 86th edition of the Bol d’Or from 13 to 15 June, sponsored by the first woman to compete in the last Vendée Globe, Justine Mettraux. 404 boats were registered and had to cover 123 km, i.e. the round trip from Geneva and Bouveret.
The first half of this 86th Bol d’Or du Léman was marked by very light wind conditions. The competitors initially benefited from an unexpected Séchard (northeast thermal wind). They then had to sail in very irregular conditions and high temperatures.
The TF35 for Ylliam XVII – Comptoir Immobilier finished 5th after 17 hours of strategic racing and 2nd in the best foiler category at the Bol Carbone.
The M2 Groupe CI finished in 6th place after a demanding race in a very competitive fleet. Its crew is made up of several talented young sailors aged 15 to 19 who are still in training and for whom this Bol d’Or was their first race.
This looks very promising for the 2026 Bol d’Or!
